Morgane Rivoal, BSc (2007), MSc (2009), PhD (2012)

Dr. Morgane Rivoal holds a BSc in Chemistry (2007) from the University of Rennes 1 (France), a MSc in Healthcare product Engineering (2009) from Polytech Lyon - University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (France) and a PhD in chemistry (2012) from University of Aix-Marseille (France) with title «Preparation and characterization of new inorganic and organic components for the future design of new multi-functional nanohybrids».
She worked as a PhD student and then as an associate researcher (2009-2013) at the laboratory of CINaM (Interdisciplinary center of nanoscience of Marseille, France) that belongs to CNRS (National center of Scientific Research).
Her expertise includes the synthesis of original organic compounds – drugs and compounds enabling new electronic or optical properties – but also the conception of  nanoparticles, engineering of nanosystems/nanohybrids and their characterization by spectroscopy (Fluorescence, UV-visible, NMR, LASER setup, Infrared & Near-infrared, two-photon absorption properties).
She joined EPOS-Iasis in 2013 and is currently working on a European Marie-Curie project funding (NANORESISTANCE) with title “Management of Resistance to Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors with Advanced Nanosystems”.
